Dominoes, also known as dominos, is a beloved board game played with rectangular "domino" tiles. Each tile features a line that divides its face into two square ends. These ends are marked with numbers of spots or are left blank. A traditional set consists of 28 dominoes, often referred to as bones, cards, tiles, tickets, stones, or spinners. The backs of the tiles are uniform in design, either blank or featuring a common pattern.
The history of dominoes dates back to the Song Dynasty in China as depicted in the text "Former Events in Wulin." It soon spread to Italy in the 18th century, and it is believed that Italian missionaries in China may have played a role in introducing the game to Europe.
